Vine Vest, LLC opened its doors in 1989 focusing on insurance for Cranberry growers in Wisconsin. Since then Vine Vest, LLC has broadened its services to cover all types of agricultural commodities in Wisconsin and surrounding states. We have insurance agents licensed to sell in Illinois, Iowa, Minnesota, and Wisconsin.
As the company has grown over the past 19 years, we have been committed to developing strong customer relationships and also a staff that supports those relationships with the same core values of trust, integrity and product knowledge. We recognize the strong bond of trust that must be earned with our customers and we value not only the business relationships but also the personal relationships that evolve with time between our customers and agents.
We’ve been asked why we don’t offer other insurance products like property, casualty, home, auto, health or life… we choose to specialize only in crop and ag insurance and strive to be the best we can be for our customers.
WHO WE ARE
Jay T. Nichols - As the owner and a licensed agent for Vine Vest, LLC, Jay is committed to helping educate and guide each customer to make the best crop insurance decision to match their individual needs. He’s very proud of the team of people he’s put together at the agency who all work very hard to earn the trust of their customers. Growing up on a local farm in Wisconsin gives him a unique understanding of his customers’ needs and challenges in the ever-changing farming industry. Prior to starting this crop insurance agency he worked in the lending area for an agribusiness company. Jay and his wife, Janell, built a home for themselves and their two daughters on his family farm which allows him a chance to still play in the dirt from time to time!
Chad Glaze - With many years of experience in the agriculture industry, Chad is ready to earn your business by assisting you with maximizing the benefits of your crop insurance. He's committed to building strong relationships with his customers and working with them to best manage their risk not only for increased profits but also for peace of mind. Chad lives in Merrill, WI with his wife Kristin and their two children. He covers the north central and eastern portion of Wisconsin.
